Rob Burrow would be 'laughing but proud' about knighthood - Sinfield

Kevin Sinfield has been knighted at Windsor Castle for his contributions to rugby league, rugby union and the motor neurone disease (MND) community. He has raised more than £11m for charity.
Sinfield credited Prince William and Princess Catherine with supporting the campaign inspired by Burrow. The Prince of Wales presented both men with CBEs at Headingley Stadium in 2024.
Looking ahead, Sinfield hopes to organise a run in Australia and New Zealand next year. He also wants countries working on MND research and family support to collaborate more closely.
He said meeting families affected by MND had been important to him. Sinfield added that he was still not accustomed to being addressed as “Sir Kevin.”
