Fury vs Joshua: Tyson Fury plans to ask US president Donald Trump to lead ring walk with Anthony Joshua

US President Donald Trump and British boxer Tyson Fury met earlier this year

Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury plans to ask US president Donald Trump to lead his ringwalk before fighting Anthony Joshua.

"I'll definitely make that offer to my old buddy, old pal, and we'll see if he's available," said 38-year-old Fury.

Fury also said his match with Joshua, 36, is preparation for a third meeting with Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury said he had "no intention" of retiring after fighting Joshua and views the contest with his compatriot as a "warm-up for Usyk".

"This year will be the most active year for me since 2018. I've done 12 rounds with a 6ft 8in Arslanbek Makhmudov and I've done seven rounds with another 6ft 7in behemoth in Mariusz Wach.
