Look up a medicine

Type the name on the box or the bottle. We show what its official U.S. label says, word for word, in large print, with the date of the label.

This is the printed label, not advice. Ask your pharmacist or doctor about your own medicines, and do not stop or change one on your own. If someone may have taken too much, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222 (free, 24 hours). In an emergency, call 911.

Common medicines

Tap a name to read its label. Brand names in grey are examples of the same medicine.

Where the words come from

The label comes from openFDA, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's public data. We show each section as printed, and the date of that label.

Plain-English pages come from MedlinePlus, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine.

The full label is one tap away on DailyMed. Labels from different makers of the same medicine are usually very similar.
