Star Trek Officially Brings Back Evil Worf In New Deep Space Nine Crossover

Worf returns as Regent

The Mirror Universe character will appear on a Magic: The Gathering card named “Worf, Regent of Terok Nor.” It is based on the existing card “Mogis, God of Slaughter” and brings back the villain who ruled the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. The black-and-red legendary creature has 7/5 power and toughness and the Indestructible ability. During opponents’ upkeep, its effect makes them sacrifice a creature or take two damage.

More Mirror Universe figures

Other characters in the Stardates collection include Intendant Kira Nerys, Spock, Mirror Malefactor, and Empress Sato, Terran Tyrant. General Picard, Earth Warlord, is also part of the collection.

The 30-card series consists of borderless reprints featuring Star Trek characters. Cards are available in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters; traditional foil versions are exclusive to Collector Boosters.

Release dates and delays

The full tabletop crossover arrives November 13, 2026, while the set comes to MTG Arena on November 10. It also includes four pre-constructed Commander decks, each with 100 playable cards and standard and premium Collector’s Edition versions.

Worf is not included in a preconstructed deck, but can be added to a customized Klingon Fury deck. A November 5 update from Wizards of the Coast said North American Commander decks may arrive after release, with delays also affecting certain bundles and other products. Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs remain on schedule, leaving collectors with planned ways to seek the Worf card at launch.
