NFL Trade Deadline: 4 Super Bowl Contenders Should Shop the Colts’ Fire Sale
Minnesota could seek offense
The Vikings could look at Daniel Jones as a possible reunion. He spent the end of the 2024 season on Minnesota’s practice squad and is familiar with its offense.
Jonathan Taylor could improve the team’s running back options, Aaron Jones Sr. and Jordan Mason. Defensive tackle Grover Stewart is another possible target to strengthen the interior.
Cincinnati has several needs
The Bengals are presented as buyers after beating the Falcons 34-17 in Madrid to reach 6-2. Taylor could add a ground threat alongside Chase Brown and Samaje Perine.
Cincinnati could also pursue defensive help. Stewart might bolster the defensive line, while safety Cameron Bynum could add depth to the secondary.
Pittsburgh may target Downs
The Steelers could consider receiver Josh Downs, with Michael Pittman Jr. on injured reserve and no return timetable provided. Downs is described as a potential match for Aaron Rodgers’ preference for precise passing.
Downs could add depth if Pittman returns later in the season. Bynum is another possible fit, offering Pittsburgh a potential boost at safety.
Kansas City needs receiving depth
The Chiefs could look to Downs to strengthen a receiving group beyond Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce. The article describes him as a possible target for Patrick Mahomes on intermediate routes.
Kansas City could also consider Bynum amid injuries to both starting cornerbacks ahead of a game against the New York Jets. His arrival might give defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo more flexibility with Alohi Gilman.
