Avatar: The Last Airbender Spinoff Officially Recast Aang’s Successor for Seven Havens

Court confirms Korra recasting

Cia Court announced on X that she voices Korra in flashback scenes in Avatar: Seven Havens. Janet Varney voiced Korra in The Legend of Korra. Court also asked whether Korra is as bad as some people think. The article describes divided fan reactions, with some criticizing her hot-headedness and others valuing her flaws.

A new era for the franchise

The Legend of Korra followed Aang’s story by 70 years and ran for four seasons, ending in 2014. The series received positive reviews and an 88% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, compared with 100% for Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Seven Havens takes place two centuries after Korra and follows new Avatar Pavi and her twin, Nisha. The Earthbender and her sister uncover secrets while trying to stop the realm from being destroyed.

More seasons are planned

Avatar: Seven Havens premiered on Paramount+ on October 9 and currently has a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score. Its first season’s final four episodes are scheduled for release on Friday, October 30.
