After 20 years, Beyoncé wears nothing but fur, heels and jewels on i-D magazine cover

A return to i-D

Beyoncé’s latest i-D cover marks her first appearance on the magazine’s cover in 20 years. Her previous cover was published in August 2006, featuring the singer in an embellished Prada dress.

The new cover is part of a special Cécred edition for October 2026 and celebrates the hair-care line’s expansion into the UK. Blair Caldwell photographed the image, with styling by Shiona Turini.

Fur, heels and diamonds

Beyoncé wears sheer black tights and holds a cream-toned fur stole around her torso. Her side-parted hair falls in damp curls across her face, styled with her own products alongside hairstylist Neal Farinah.

She steps on the cap of a Cécred product with her stiletto heels. Her jewelry includes a chunky Tiffany Blue Book 2024 choker inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s Apollo brooch, plus a matching bracelet, stacked rings and a Cécred nameplate necklace.

The choker features 10 Fancy Intense Yellow diamonds weighing more than 19 carats, set over more than 89 carats of round brilliant white diamonds. One ring includes a pear-shaped fancy brown-pink diamond weighing more than 10 carats, surrounded by white diamonds.

Cécred and the print edition

The magazine has released one cover image so far and says more of the spread will appear with the print edition. The eight-page spread can be purchased online and is scheduled to ship Nov. 10. A full interview is not available online, but Beyoncé said she wanted to create a product that addressed real problems and worked so well that even people who dislike her music would use Cécred.
