Ukraine war live: Zelensky feels ‘betrayed’ by Trump over Starlink access
Zelensky criticizes Trump’s position
In an interview with Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday, Zelensky said Trump’s recent actions left him feeling betrayed. He pointed to the easing of sanctions on Russian diesel and claims that an energy ceasefire had been reached.
Zelensky said Trump should remain neutral if he presents himself as being between Ukraine and Russia. He also rejected Trump’s suggestion that Ukraine needed a new leader, saying the country’s people choose their president.

Starlink limits raise alarm
Ukraine said restrictions on Starlink services were affecting attack and air-defence drone missions. Zelensky warned that limits on the military version could lead to significant loss of life, but did not identify who made the decision.
Musk, who leads SpaceX, said the US government determines Starlink’s speeds and that the president has ultimate authority over those limits. Zelensky wrote on Telegram that Russian forces were seeking to exploit connection problems because interceptor drones rely heavily on Starlink.
Attacks and ceasefire dispute
Russia launched missiles and drones at Ukrainian cities, according to the report, cutting power to hundreds of thousands of people. Zelensky described the strikes as disrespectful toward Trump’s proposed energy ceasefire.
Russia’s defence ministry said its forces struck the port of Izmail in the Odesa region and two cargo vessels travelling toward Odesa. The ministry claimed the ships were being used for military purposes.

Britain urges tougher sanctions
British Chancellor John Healey called for stronger sanctions on Russian-linked shipping during meetings in Bangkok. He urged finance ministers to maintain economic pressure and tighten restrictions on services used by Russia’s shadow fleet.
