Beau Lamarre-Condon allegedly asked celebrity chaser friend if he could post phone to her in WA to throw in water, court told

A friendship formed in Sydney
Parker, who lives in Western Australia, told the court she first met Lamarre-Condon in 2010. They were trying to spot American rapper Pitbull outside the Channel 7 studios during a Sunrise filming.

A request about a phone
The court heard that Lamarre-Condon asked Parker on 12 February 2024 to move their conversations to the encrypted app Signal. On 20 February, the day after the alleged murders, he called and asked her for a favour.
Parker said he wanted her to switch on a phone, turn it off, and throw it into a body of water. She said she had been willing to help without knowing what the phone was. Lamarre-Condon allegedly asked her to leave it on for about 10 minutes so it could “ping”, then dispose of it 30km to 40km from her home.
Messages before the men vanished
The night before Baird was killed, he sent Parker a message wishing her well before she started a new job. On Monday, she replied about her first day and asked whether he could meet the following week, the jury heard.
