Reported by CNBC · October 12, 2026
Federal agents searched Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington-area home on Monday as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, according to reports and a Justice Department spokesperson.
The Associated Press reported that two people familiar with the matter identified the home as Omar’s. They spoke anonymously because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly.
The reporting did not establish whether Omar was home during the search. Her office did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to ABC News.
