One killed after Riyadh airport hit again, a day after deadly strike killed 13

A passenger terminal at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was attacked again on Sunday, Saudi authorities said. One person died and others were injured.
The new attack came a day after a missile strike at the airport killed 13 people, including a U.S. citizen, and wounded more than 300. The person identified as killed was Egyptian flight attendant Azza Ramzy, 28, who worked for Flynas, Egyptian state television reported.
The airport has been closed since Saturday’s strike and has been hit four times in five days. Flights were diverted, and several governments advised their citizens to stay away. Riyadh schools have shifted to online learning amid Houthi threats.
The Houthis have claimed attacks on other Saudi sites, including energy facilities and an airport in Dammam. The latest violence adds to tensions between the group and Saudi Arabia and complicates efforts to stop the wider U.S.-Iran war.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the airport attack, while European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned that strikes by Iran-backed groups risk deepening regional violence. Saudi Arabia has not provided further details about the Sunday incident.
